Skyline Cup

Photobucket Photobucket 'This cup makes a perfect souvenir for tourists, travelers, collectors and anyone who fancies seeing the skyline with every sip. The perfect size—in the way it sits in the hand, and in the amount it holds—the Skyline Cup lets you wake up and have your coffee with the city that never sleeps. You can fill your cup to the level of the skyline and watch its reflection on the gleaming surface, or you can fill it past the level of the skyline and imagine a world in which global warming may befall even the mightiest cities.' "A collaboration with the famous Shanghai artist Yang Yong Liang. It's a beautiful landscape painting if you look at it from distance, but if you get closer it’s factory buildings which take place over the green mountains and cars which take place over the streams. The China Environment Protection Fund wants to warn people with these impactful pictures, that if we don't take any more actions to reduce the environment pollution, there will be a day when all the beautiful landscapes will disappear." Icon Cable Ties

Photobucket Photobucket Icon Cable Ties are an assorted set of 24 cable ties, they have 6 different symbols on the top: music notes, stars, keys, people, birds and lightning bolts all feature – ambiguous enough to be versatile and memorable enough to be recognisable you can use them to label your electrical items or simply to tidy up loose wires and cables. Keep your iPod lead in check with the music note, or single out your fridge lead with the lightning bolt, and never be caught swearing at an inanimate object again. Design by Emma Gordon. My Infinite Home Tool

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket "Two portable objects for storage, that have the double function of a suitcase and a show display. You carry them with you or put them down as cabinets. They transport what you need and show what you have chosen to take with you. This project started from my personal experience with extensive travelling and having to live out of one suitcase. I had to make choices about what to bring and what to leave behind. While making these choices was hard, it also made it possible to get rid of unnecessary things. The important and good items that you decide to bring are the objects that define your identity. The suitcases are made from bended beech, leather and metal. The objects are being kept in place by elastic bands that are pulled through the little holes in the wooden frame. If you want to bring a lot of luggage, you can simply adjust the elastics." - Jolien Hanemaaijer Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
