Rafael Gómez Barros
‘Rafael Gómez Barros attached thousands of enlarged fiberglass ants to government buildings and historical monuments. His installation of 1,300 ants was placed on the facade of the National Congress of Columbia building Casa Tomada, (2010), in Bogota. For the artist it was a symbolic portrayal of the ongoing armed conflict in Colombia.’
